What does MSI do?

• Through our internship you will be a part of mnemonic’s department of infrastructure security (MSI). We work with technology and cyber solutions. MSI is a technical department implementing security and architectural solutions for our clients to better protect them in the cyber domain.
• Through the summer you will be challenged with a project assignment tailored to our needs, as well as your wishes and interests. You will work in a team with 2-3 other students, and work with real challenges for our customers. We want you to feel you made a difference through the summer.
• The exact assignment will be defined together with our customers at the beginning of 2025.
• You will be a part of a larger security community where expertise and integrity is highly valued. You will gain knowledge of the most modern security solutions available on market, and gain insight in how larger corporations might benefit from these. Maybe also join in bringing a new solution to life?

Example projects

• “Helping the helpers” : mnemonic and MSI wish to contribute back to society. Previous students have worked with non-profit organisations by performing cloud security audits, and recommending mitigations.
• Securing critical infrastructure development projects : Previous students have worked with MSI’s developer team to expand on tailor-made software solutions for our customers.

Who are we looking for?

• You like to emerge yourself in technical challenges, and enjoy finding the solution.
• You study technology in your third or fourth year.
• You communicate well in both Norwegian and English.
• It is an advantage with knowledge with computer networks, programming or public cloud platforms.
