For the past four years, Luuk Dijkema has worked diligently on information security within the municipality of The Hague. A key contribution was drafting the Cyber-IT crisis plan, outlining the city's response structure during cyber and IT crises.

Luuk aims to further develop this plan into a program that incorporates regular exercises, training, and education for the municipal crisis organization. Participation as an exercise leader in the national cyber crisis exercise ISIDOOR, at both local and sectoral levels, has been valuable in this development.

Additionally, Luuk holds a secondary role within the Safety Region, a public body coordinating responses to crises, disasters, and public order disruptions. This role provides experience in managing information exchange during critical situations.
